These are obvious, everyone everywhere celebrates when two young people (or old, you know, no one’s judging) unite, and sometimes we wonder why we did so. At the time we hope for the best, and hopefully, it’s a continual celebration of an united family until death do them part.
We all know clowns are a party favorite with the smaller kids. Kids love playing pretend and a birthday party is the perfect place to do it. You can even hire people to come to the party as a fairytale character complete with costumes, dress-up items for the kids and, of course, magic wands.
Toddlers generally engage in parallel play rather than interactive play. They play alongside each other rather than with each other. They don’t play organized games very well, yet and that is perfectly normal. They like to explore.
Find other rewards. Instead of rewarding yourself with food, plan something nice to do for yourself each day. You might enjoy the food in the moment but afterwards you are likely to feel regret. It is better to make time throughout the day to do things you enjoy because you deserve it. It might be just to sit and read a book, take a bath, get a pedicure, watch tv or go to the movies. Relax and enjoy.
This begs the question: How do i rate the foods I eat? How do I know which to cut out and which to keep? I’m sure you know some general rules already. You probably know that fried chicken is less healthy than plain chicken. You probably know that fruit is a better desert than ice cream. But beyond generalities like that, most people don’t have a clue.
Deprivation is the ruin of many a diet, so go ahead and occasionally have a small portion of dessert to satisfy your sweet tooth – it’ll make you more likely to stick to your diet. Just don’t overdo it: think of it as a treat, not a staple. Once or twice a week is reasonable. Choose your occasions wisely, plan ahead, and don’t skip a meal out of guilt. That way, you won’t feel so deprived that you turf the whole diet and stuff your face with truck loads of forbidden cake and ice cream.
After you bring them the first cocktail, do not let it go empty. As soon as the guest drinks more than half of the drink, offer another. A word of caution though; be responsible with alcohol service. Provide water and be aware of how much you are serving.
